This calculator will help you measure the volume of a double-walled circular area.  The walls can be actual solid physical barriers or simply a controlled limitation where the horse can only move in a limited circular area.  Either way, the radius of the inner and outer boundary limits need to be measured.  First, measure the radius of the outer limit. Second, measure the radius of the inner limit.   By subtracting the inner from the outer boundary limit.   

Measurements can lead to only one of three possible outcomes.  Accurate measurements will lead to a result that allows us to determine an optimum economical application rate.  Inaccurate measurements will lead to results for either an over-application rate or an under-application rate.
